Heavens to Betsy is a directory. We connect people who have something to offer with people who need it — food, skills, tools, shelter, transportation, and more, close to home.
What we are, and what we’re not
We provide the space. The listings, the offers, the requests — those come from the people using the site, not from us. We review new listings before they go live, but that review is a basic check, not a guarantee. We don’t verify the accuracy of what’s posted, and we’re not a party to any exchange that happens because of it.
No transactions happen here
Heavens to Betsy doesn’t process payments, handle shipping, or broker deals. If you arrange to trade, buy, sell, or exchange something with someone through this site, that arrangement is between the two of you. Use good judgment — meet in public when you can, trust your instincts, and don’t share more personal information than you need to.
Posting on Heavens to Betsy
You’re responsible for what you post. Don’t list anything illegal, don’t misrepresent what you’re offering or asking for, and don’t use the messaging system to harass or spam other users. We can remove listings or accounts that violate this, no advance notice required.

This site is provided as-is. We work to keep it running and to review listings responsibly, but we can’t guarantee it’ll always be available, error-free, or that every listing is exactly what it claims to be.
